Finally, I did it!!!

It has been my dream to fish for any kind of fish with lure. It was also one of my targets last year but I was not able to achieve it. Finally today, I managed to land two snakeheads with my new Venom rod, Shimano Alivio 2500FB reel, 8lbs berkley mono line and Alpine's froggie. Went to the pond where I used to go at 2.30pm. Fished there until 5.30pm. There were extremely a lot of strikes today but I only managed to land the two snakeheads. The snakeheads were not big. They were only about the size of my foot.

Planned to go fishing on a sampan with Ijam and his friends. Cancelled it because of heavy rain. So, I went to the guard house near Sandakan wet market and fished there. Fished from 1030pm to 100am. Got only a gelama with my new Cobra Robinson 4.5feet fishing rod and Shimano Slade FB4000 reel equipped with 30lbs power pro braided line. Gave the gelama to the angler fishing beside me.

Went fishing with Elysius, Rey and Ijam in Bandar Ramai-Ramai from 4.00pm to 6.30pm. I did bottom fishing and popping. In less than 10 minutes, Elysius managed to land a GT which was about 300g. It was small but the fight was good as he was using a soft rod.

After a few minutes, I reeled in my line. I was surprised to see a baby grouper. I didn't even realise that it was hooked. It was only about two fingers sized. Released it back to the ocean.
